System Overview: The OEB5 isolators are classified into protective isolators and sterile isolators. Protective isolators control hazards posed by the product to human health and are applied in high-containment environments for highly potent APIs, cell-active substances, and nuclear industry applications. Sterile isolators protect the product from the operator, utilized for sampling, weighing, filling, and sterile pharmaceutical production.

Protective Isolator Features:

• Approximately 20 air changes per hour
• Chamber door interlock or automatic locking in emergencies
• Online secure replacement of filters and gloves
• WIP system design for chemical inactivation
• High leakage rate control (OEB3-OEB5)

Sterile Isolator Features:

• Control of air velocity, airflow pattern, temperature, and humidity
• Microbial indicator monitoring (airborne and settled bacteria)
• Biological inactivation: VHP cycle development and validation
